About the role
A global manufacturing group is hiring an experienced HR Business Partner for its flagship plant near Chennai. The role partners closely with operations leadership on workforce planning, performance management, engagement and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to plant and functional heads on all people matters
- Lead performance management, succession planning and talent reviews
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling and statutory compliance
- Drive engagement initiatives and monitor attrition and workforce metrics
- Coach line managers on HR policies and best practices
Requirements
- MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute
- 6+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience, ideally in manufacturing
- Sound understanding of Indian labour laws and factory compliance
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
